while waiting for the kids' class to end. this yong tau hu not bad. unfortunately, the fried carrot cake stall waiting period >1 hour (apparently they were featured in the day's papers as a 'legend' stall)... so end up, we will order food fm the 'not legend' status stalls...
in the news the past few days were the topic on human organ trading...

i think the lesson learn for the rest of us is to always verify the destination of our philanthropy. meanwhile, the white bee-hoon plus normal bee-hoon combination is not bad. although i am starting to think the bee-hoon is the same taste as kuay teow and mee.

When in chinaland, not much variety, so Mr * have to make do again. BFast this morning is Chocolate chip cookies dipped in Korean instant noodle. (note to Mr *: the photo resolution is very bad. From your phone?)

Not too bad to kick start Monday. The news this morning was the recent controversy regd the trading of organs. This one will be tough..
Also the new 'milimeter' scanner at the airport ie can scan you like you are NAKED!
So that means, Mr * cannot smuggle food in his pockets thru customs the next time he is back here in S'poreland. what a tragedy..

typical sunday noodles at Shimbashi Soba @Paragon. post soba dessert would be red bean paste with stuffs. of course, must have the tabloid for the better half and DS for the brood to keep them occupied.

notice the amt of chilli powder in DS's bowl and mine. But the soup as usual is flavour packed.

saw the next table order a LOBSTER noodle and CRAB noodle. all struggling with the chopstick and flimsy plastic spoon. hahaha

late.. no time to QUEUE up for TeaC

just gobbled up my noodles..
this would be the beverage stall with the long queue. the 'system' would be one person take order (a nice lady who had already remembered my standard order of teaC-SIEW-TAI and newspaper), one to relay the order, and one who is in charge of making the drinks...

ok. first time try wonton noodles. corner stall.
the guy preparing it must have gone thru an extensive OJT by the way he precisely insert the ingredients piece by piece. each char siew lovingly places ONE by ONE as i watched.
i tell you, every piece was arranged painstakingly.

however, after all the work, he just threw the vegetable haphazardly at the side.
