i 102
first time tried the bak chor MEE
ie a little bit of bak and chor and a lot of MEE. but the soup is not bad.
of course, no chilli, so end up just having tomato sauce noodles essentially.
on the news, was the iPhone and something abt how inflation will wipe out whatever money we make in real wages.

wine cooler - i finally got one
got this at BestDenki for abt $400 bucks. found a nice niche next to my study table.
the joke was that, after stuffing my best 18 bottles of red and white wine into this thing, the next day, the top compartment thermostat broke down, and my whites actually leaked (ie spoilt).
wah piang...
took this picture as evidence. see the top compartment ? it's at 34 degrees Celsius!!! it was supposed to be at 10 degrees Celsius!!
so now white wine = grape juice!
GRAPE JUICE! aaaaarrrrrggghhhh
(footnote: item sent back to manufacturer and repaired.. as to what happened to my white wine, well.. a different story)

102 backdated reports
102 is a codeword which was coined to describe 'breakfast'.
Over time, it has become a routine of sorts ie turnup, order food, wait for friend, he comes late, i go off
this blog will document this daily humdrum..
some backdated pictures will be posted together with some clips of the day's headlines.
starting with this:
SAF suspends training for 3 days. ie 'time-out' after 2nd NSmen death in 2 days.

so what's in a title ?
TEAc refers to 'teh-c' ie tea sweetened with evaporated milk. slightly off-normal as people usually just order 'teh' ie tea sweetened with condensed milk, which is waaaaay to sweet ie drink too much get diabetes.
however, there seems to be a lack of an established standard when it comes to beverages at the typical foodcourt/coffeehouse/eating house. and the person making the beverages is usually not trained to your typical baristta level.
so depending on where you go, the level of tea+evaporated milk+sugar+hot water combination is usually not so consistent.
hence we developed a terminology for us 'teh-c' afficionados.
TEAc means a fairly high level of tea.
teaC means more 'c' ie more 'evaporated milk'
